Vedika Credit Capital Ltd is a Non-Deposit taking, Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC-MFI). The Company was originally registered as a Private Limited Company but was later converted into a Public Limited Company in November, 1995. It was recognized and re-registered to carry out the business as NBFC-MFI with approval from Reserve Bank of India in 2015 although since 2007 the company is into Micro Finance product like Joint Liability Groups loans and Individual Loans and provide assistance to women borrowers as per RBI regulations. The company is operating across 7 states (Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Odisha & Tripura) It has operations through 192 branches across these states (Bihar-40, Jharkhand-22, West Bengal-58, U.P.-20, Assam-17, Odisha-15, Tripura-20)

Mr. Deep Kumar Hessa

Independent Director

Mr. Deep Kumar Hessa serves as a Director of the Company. He holds qualifications in LL.B and LL.M with specialization in Customary Law and Tribal Governance. He has been associated with non-governmental organizations and has knowledge of rural and tribal regions, particularly in Jharkhand. His background supports the Company’s understanding of socio-legal aspects relevant to inclusive finance and community-oriented initiatives.

Md. Maqsoodul Hasan Ansari

Mr. Maqsoodul Hasan Ansari is an Independent Director of the Company. He brings extensive experience in education, training, and rural development. His academic qualifications include postgraduate studies in Social Service, Personnel Management and Industrial Relations, Marketing Management, and a Doctorate in Philosophy. He has held senior academic leadership roles and contributed to research, publications, and national and international forums. His presence supports independent judgment, social sector insight, and governance oversight.

Mr. Hari Babu Shukla

Independent Director

Mr. Hari Babu Shukla is an Independent Director of the Company. He is a graduate and an Associate Member of the Indian Institute of Bankers. He brings extensive experience in the banking sector, having held senior positions across branch banking, regional management, international banking, corporate office functions, and training institutions. His presence on the Board provides independent oversight, guidance on banking practices, and support in strengthening governance and risk management.

Mrs. Sunaina Garodia

Independent Women Director

Mrs. Sunaina Garodia, is an Independent Director of the Company. She is a seasoned professional with a strong background in human resources and entrepreneurship. She completed her schooling at Bishop Westcott Girls’ School and Delhi Public School, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management from Xavier Institute of Social Services. She began her career with Tata Consultancy Services, where she worked in the Human Resources function from 2007 to 2014, handling key responsibilities across recruitment and talent development while working across multiple locations. In 2014, she transitioned into entrepreneurship and founded Health Freaks and Health Freaks Unplugged. As a founder, she has led end-to-end business operations, including strategic planning, marketing, finance, and operations management, and continues to be actively involved in steering the growth and sustainability of her ventures.

Kunal Pandey is the Risk Head at Vedika Credit Capital Ltd. He has successfully led the development and expansion of the company’s E-Rickshaw and Micro Business Loan products, building strong foundations for growth and financial inclusion. Currently, he drives Vedika’s risk management, credit governance, and process innovation, with a focus on automation, compliance, and data-driven decisioning to ensure sustainable and responsible scaling.

Mr. Sohan Singh

HR Manager

He is part of the HR leadership at the company. He has 10 years of experience in Management across different industries. He holds a Post Graduate degree in Business Management (PGBM) . He looks after employee engagement, performance management, policy making, and the smooth running of HR operations. He also plays an important role in planning and improving HR processes for the company. He has a practical approach to solving people-related issues and supports different teams whenever required. When not busy with HR work, he enjoys reading books on personal finance and money management.

Mr. Milan’s career spans more than 8 years, with leading position in System Analysis, Managing, Designing and Implementing of Web & Mobile Application for various MFI’s, Societies, Trusts, Cooperatives and Government Department in multiple states.
